Modern bumpers are made of flexible plastic, so they take a low-speed knock without breaking the car. They also crack and scuff easily.
A crack or split is usually welded and bonded from both sides to bring the strength back. The surface is then built up, shaped and sanded smooth. After that the bumper is sprayed in your car's colour and polished.
Sometimes replacement is the right answer. A bumper with broken mounting tabs, or one that has been crushed, may be better replaced. We will tell you honestly which side your bumper falls on.

Can a cracked bumper really be repaired?
Yes, in most cases. Plastic can be welded and bonded, then filled, sanded and painted. If the mounting points are broken or the bumper is crushed, replacement is better.
