Car body repairs in Smallfield
This is home. Ericraft Bodyshop is at Unit 6, 100 Redehall Road, in the village of Smallfield, near Horley and Gatwick.

Smallfield is a village in Surrey, between Horley and the lanes of the Tandridge countryside. It is the largest settlement in the parish of Burstow, and Burstow Primary School stands in the middle of it. We are Ericraft Bodyshop, Unit 6, 100 Redehall Road. There is no drive to speak of if you live here, and no town traffic to get through.
Finding the workshop
Redehall Road is the road that runs through Smallfield, and our unit is on it, at number 100. If you are coming from Horley, take the B2036 and then the B2037, and you will join Redehall Road on the way into the village. If you are coming from the Lingfield or Crawley Down side, the B2037 brings you in the same way. If you are driving from further away, put RH6 9RS into satnav and it will take you to the door.
Look for Unit 6 on the road. Ring us on 01342 649 362 if you cannot spot it and we will talk you in.
Why a village workshop?
Because most of what comes in is ordinary. A shopping trolley mark, a scraped bumper from a tight drive, a wing mirror knocked off by a passing van. Being small means you speak to the person who will do the work. We have been going for more than ten years and work on cars and light vans.
We do not need you to arrive with a diagnosis. Bring the car, or send photos on WhatsApp first, and we will tell you what we see. Our bumper repair page and scratch repairs page cover the jobs people ask about most. For larger damage, accident repair explains how we handle it, and car respray covers paintwork in the spray booth.
What is nearby?
Burstow village is about a mile south of the middle of Smallfield, with its old church and the lanes that lead off it. Horley is the nearest town, and Gatwick Airport is a short drive away. If you want to see how far we are from your village, our pages for Horley, Burstow, Copthorne and Outwood give the drive times.
Can I leave the car and walk home?
If you live in the village, often yes. Ring first so we can fit you in and agree how long the job will take. We would rather give you an honest time for your car than a general one. If you cannot come to us, ask about collection and delivery, which we can sometimes do in nearby areas.
Getting a price
The quote is free and there is no pressure. Photos on WhatsApp are the quickest way: one wide shot and a few close-ups. For the quick jobs we reply with a price from the photos. Where we cannot tell from a picture, we will say so and ask to see the car.
We are open Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings. Ring us on 01342 649 362, or send photos on WhatsApp to 07724 146 809.
Drive times are worked out from OpenStreetMap road data without traffic, and rounded. Allow longer at rush hour.
