Car body repairs for Redhill drivers

Redhill is a town in Surrey, in the borough of Reigate and Banstead, where the A23 from London to Brighton crosses the A25. Its station is a junction on the Brighton Main Line, and trains from there run to London and to Gatwick Airport. Reigate sits next door on the west side, and Earlswood is just to the south.

We are not in Redhill. Smallfield is further south and east, and from the station the drive is about 17 minutes, or 7.5 miles. That is far enough that we do not expect everyone to turn up for a quote, so photos come first.

Why would I drive out from Redhill?

Redhill has a lot of commuters, so a lot of cars sit all day in a station or office car park. That is where a fair few of the marks we see come from: a scraped rear bumper, a door edge, a wheel scuffed against a kerb at the end of a long day. Parked cars cannot see who hits them.

The jobs we do for those are usually small. A scratch or scuff is the most common, followed by alloy wheels with kerb marks. If the paint is dull rather than damaged, machine polishing may be all it needs. Bigger damage from a proper bump goes down as accident repair.

How to get here from Redhill

The route runs south down the A23, and it is the A25 you leave from if you are coming from the Reigate side. After that it is lanes. The route finder takes Weatherhill Road, Hathersham Lane, New House Lane, Axes Lane and Honeycrock Lane, then into Redehall Road.

Those are narrow country roads in places, and some people prefer to go down through Horley instead, which is a bit longer but simpler. Either way, the satnav postcode is RH6 9RS and the unit is number 100 on Redehall Road, number 6.
