Car body repairs for Crawley drivers
Our workshop is in Smallfield, just over the Surrey border from Crawley. It is about 10 minutes from Crawley Town Hall, 5.5 miles by road.
Crawley is a big town in West Sussex. It was made a new town after the Second World War and is now split into a dozen or so neighbourhoods, among them Northgate, Pound Hill, Tilgate, Ifield, Three Bridges and Langley Green. Gatwick Airport sits on its northern edge. The Surrey border is a few miles north, and Smallfield is just on the other side of it.
From Crawley Town Hall to our door is about 10 minutes, or 5.5 miles. If you live on the north side of town it can be quicker than that.
Why would a Crawley driver cross the border for a body shop?
Mostly because the road is short and it is not a trip across the county. The route heads out of the town centre on the A2004 and A2011, then picks up the B2036 and B2037 towards Smallfield and Redehall Road.
Crawley is a big place with a lot of traffic, a lot of roundabouts and a lot of one-way roads and car parks. That is where most of the damage we hear about comes from: a shunt at a roundabout, a bumper pushed in by somebody in a hurry, a wing caught on a bollard. We repair accident damage and smaller jobs, including bumpers and dents.
If the damage is only to the paint, a respray of one panel may be all it needs, blended so it does not stand out. We cannot say from a description. Send photos and we will tell you plainly.
How to get here from Crawley
- Leave the town centre on the A2004 and the A2011.
- Pick up the B2036, then the B2037 towards Smallfield.
- Turn onto Redehall Road. The workshop is at Unit 6, 100 Redehall Road, RH6 9RS.
The roads are the ones the route finder picks, and your own way may be different. It is easy to put our postcode into a satnav.
Can you collect my car?
We can arrange collection and delivery in nearby areas. Ask when you ring and tell us where in town you are. We would rather you ask than assume.
